Bonnie Blue was the horse I received on my 11th birthday. My first! She was not the first horse I rode or tried, but the instant I rode her, we had a connection that lasted our entire time together. She was a blue roan quarter horse from the King Ranch in Texas. She was just too short for their standards, so she was auctioned and moved to California. She was just green broke, so we learned how to work and ride together.
